Communication and Public Relations office
The Head, Communication and Public Relations must comply with Civil Service policies regarding communication and public relations. The Director has authority to manage the Ministry communication and public relations function, developing strategies and campaigns, preparing press releases, keynote speeches and promotional material, and building positive relationships with stakeholders, media and the public. In performing this role, the incumbent provides communications and PR leadership and vision in theMinistry and is accountable for contributing to the Ministry strategic plan development and implementation, and achieving the goals of the Department. Under this authority, the Director is responsible for the overall technical, administrative and financial management of the Department. As a member of the senior management team,
the Director provides technical and professional support to the Director General.
